"Intro to Piano" Classes

FUN, AFFORDABLE, CONVENIENT, and EFFECTIVE group classes!

Welcoming young musicians to weekly 30-minute group piano classes:

For students AGE 6-9 (Grades 1-3)
THREE SESSIONS: Sep-Dec (15 weeks $240), Jan-Mar (11 weeks $176), and April-Jun (9 weeks $144).
WHEN: Wednesdays 3-3:30pm or 3:30-4pm
WHERE: our Park Ridge Piano studio (Talcott and Dee Rd., by Maine South HS)
CLASS SIZE: up to 6 students maximum per class, minimum 3 students.
COST per student: only $16/class, charged PER SESSION. Easy payment by Zelle from your bank app. No refunds if withdrawing. Thank you!
Unlike our 1-on-1 piano lessons, there's no sibling discount for the group classes, since they're already at a significantly lower cost per student.
PROVIDED: in our weekly classes, each student gets to use their own 37-key piano keyboard, and sheet music is included (songs, worksheets, etc.).
Students will LEARN: NOTES, RHYTHM PATTERNS, basic CHORDS and other elements of MUSIC THEORY, in addition to songs, of course.
REQUIRED for home practice: a keyboard, or digital/acoustic piano. Please stay away from cheap keyboards - Yamaha and Casio are the best value, then Korg, Roland, and Kurzweil. Avoid the rest...
Recommended app for note reading: Notes! (note flash cards)
Classes are taught in English.
After attending our "Intro to Piano" classes, students can continue with 1-on-1 lessons
